Last night the Elitists IPE returned to FMA Competition.
Competing against 14 other World Class lines, The Elitists took 4th. They also won the Visual Caption, took 4th in the Music Caption, and Won Visual Effect, and took 4th in Overall GE.
This was, hands down, the best start to the season The Elitists have ever had.

The Elitists: Opening Day Results
Last night marked the return of The Elitists Drum & Bugle Corps to FMA World Class competition.
Out of 21 Groups, The Elitists finished in 8th with a 58.075. It was a very impressive first show and I am very proud of the corps.
The Elitists Percussion took 2nd last night, The Guard took first, The Corps won Visual Performance, and took 2nd in the overall Visual Caption. A very successful night for the corps, caption wise.
Hopefully this will pan out into a great return season.

The Elite IPE Season XI
The Elite IPE are finally returning to FMA PIW Competition.
Indoor is personally one of my favorite activities and I am very happy to be bringing The Elite back to the competitive circuit after being away for 4 seasons. It will be a very exciting season for the ensemble.
This season The Elitists show is entitled 'Stages of Life'.
The show is based off of 4 different stages that we go through in life. The musical and visual interpretation of these stages will be executed by a very talented group of kids this season.
We have an incredibly talented staff that will be coming on board this season to help The Elite return to World Class Competition for Season XI.

The Elitists D&BC Season XI
During Season X The Elitists Drum and Bugle Corps did a very light competitive schedule in order to re-accustom the performers and staff members to the tour schedule. We are proud to announce that for Season XI we will be going full throttle and aiming for Gold.
This season The Elitists field production is entitled 'Winds of Change'.
We chose this title, and created the music(all of which is original and done my our incredible staff) because we felt that it fit with what we are doing this season. In our first 5 seasons The Elitists were Semifinalists in FMA's World Class. In Season VI, our last before the hiatus began, we missed making Semifinals and have not been since. Our hope is to change that and make it to Finals this season for the first time.
We have an incredibly talented staff that will be coming on board this season to help The Elitists return to World Class Competition for Season XI.

In order to keep up with the times, and some of our main rivals, I have decided to create a directors blog for our fans to follow and for information recording purposes.
This will be where all fans can find information about both The Elitists D&BC and The Elite IPE.
I will include a competition schedule, our show title and pieces to be performed as well as staff members and ensemble members. I will also update the blog with competition scores throughout the season.
